Sherlock and John decorating a Christmas tree?
…some Christmassy time Johnlock cuddles? Like by the tree they decorated together?
i’ll link the sources later but you can literally find these by googling their names and the quote or the problem you have with them
i missed out on quite a few so i might make another soon
Aaaand your point is…? Proving to us that they’re actual human beings with flaws? What a shocker. I have to say, though, that some of these quotes and facts were taken entirely out of context.
Now, when I say that I’m a fan of someone, I mean that I like the work they do. When I call a celebrity “flawless”, I do not mean that in a literal sense. Because you seem to be forgetting they’re all just human. Don’t even pretend you never acted like an asshole, because you’re not a fucking saint, okay?
Being a fan of someone doesn’t mean I just blatantly approve of everything they do or say, or actively encourage wrong behaviour. It means I can look past the flaws of someone. And all of the people listed above have done so many good things, they helped charities, they’ve shown love and compassion towards their fans, they all contributed something in culture, etc. Good outweighs the bad if you ask me.
It’s good to remember that everyone has flaws, but it’s certainly not unhealthy to be a fan of someone, so I’ll fangirl over anyone I damn well please. Good day.

One of my best friends wears a hijab and she was telling me how one time when she went to the shop, some random man came over and started asking her about whether or not she had a husband. She was around sixteen at the time. Anyway she basically told him to leave her alone but he wouldn’t let up, apparently unable to understand the fact that a Muslim girl was single at sixteen. He said he felt sorry for her because of the whole arranged marriage thing and because of how she has to wear a hijab.
Another time, yet another adult man began expressing pity towards her for being Muslim. He told her that she was oppressed. In addition to this, multiple men have approached her and said things like ‘you look so much better without the hijab’ and ‘you don’t have to wear that’.
Naturally, she shut all of those people down. In history she’d rant to me a lot about how these adult men could say things like that to her. I’ve known this girl for around five or six years and she is one of the bravest, cleverest and most opinionated people that I know. She speaks up for what she believes in, she stands up for herself and she makes her own choices.
Why does she wear a hijab? Because she wants to. She is very proud to be a Muslim and she says she doesn’t feel comfortable going out in public without wearing it. It’s very important to her to be able to wear it. She’s happy, she’s fun to be around and I just cannot understand how anyone could look at her and say ‘oh, you’re oppressed’ just because she wears a hijab.
How does a hijab make someone oppressed anyway? If a woman is forced into wearing something that she doesn’t want to wear then yes, I understand why you would call that oppression. But if a woman chooses to wear something to show their love and respect for their religion then who the hell are you to say that she’s oppressed? How can someone be oppressed simply because they want to wear something that is very important to them?
If you look at a woman and say “hey, you should stop wearing that hijab” then you’re the one being ignorant, rude and downright out of order. Surely its oppressive to say to a woman “oiy, i’ve decided that you’re not allowed to wear that anymore even though you really want to wear it”? Plus its just plain offensive.
Yes, oppression exists, but banning hijabs is oppressive in itself. Everyone deserves the right to express their love for whatever religion they choose and I have yet to meet a muslimah who wears a hijab because she was forced into doing so.
I am very happy there are more people in the world interested in saving a surprise for everyone than in ruining it. Thank you fellow fans for the warnings.

there was a monarch butterfly outside with a torn wing and i thought it was dead so i went to pick it up off the ground with a flower but it began to hurriedly clutch onto it trying to drink something. it was totally trembling; it had a gash on it’s body and i knew it was dying but i couldn’t bring myself to kill it, so i googled a monarch’s favourite food and it ended up being mandarins. he literally devoured as much as he could before dying and i buried him outside my window.
